THE DRIVER is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of product to wholesale customers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Verify for accuracy and quality prior to loading on delivery vehicle
• Load staged product onto delivery vehicle safely
• Safely operate company delivery vehicles
• Unload and deliver product to designated location in store in a safe manner
• Replenish doughnut displays, record sales and returns by completing an invoice.  Remove returns from store.
• Clean displays and restock with packaging as required
• Oversee upkeep and cleanliness of delivery vehicle daily
• Record sales and returns on handheld computer equipment (PDA)
• Responsible to notify manager of maintenance requirements for delivery vehicles
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a customer focused relationship with each account
• Responsible to notify manager of any customer concerns/complaints
• Responsible to notify manager of any on-the-job injury and/or vehicle accident immediately
• Comply with all DOT regulations and paperwork. i.e. Drivers Logs, Vehicle Inspection Reports

Qualifications

• Must meet Krispy Kreme safe driving program standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have held a valid driver’s license for 3 consecutive years.
• Must have or be able to obtain DOT health card
• Must be 21 years or older

• Must be able to meet vision requirements necessary to obtain a driver’s license
• Must be able to read order and sales forms

Working Conditions

• The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.  Activities occur inside and outside.
