    In this role you'll be responsible for creating the communication strategy for advertising campaigns. This includes targeting the right audience, as well as setting the tone and message of the campaign. You'll be responsible for writing a formal brief and providing the ideal environment for creative development. By combining market data, qualitative research and product knowledge within the brief, you'll ensure the creative team produce innovative ideas that will reach consumers.

    You will also research and analyze clients' markets, including customer needs and attitudes. Translate insights into advertising, brand and creative strategies. Track market trends and customer behavioral shifts. 

     

    You will work closely with the VP, Planning Director by supporting them on POVs, messaging strategy, research projects, brand strategy, communication strategy and daily requests as they come up. 

     

    This person will work out of the Publicis Seattle office.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

    -       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related studies and/or further training in Strategic Planning required

    -       3+ years strategic planning or equivalent relevant experience

    -       Demonstrable ability to uncover consumer insights and apply them to actionable creative strategies

    o   Comfortable gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data

    o   Able to cut through the noise to find insightful nuggets in qualitative data and desk research

    o   Relentless curiosity and passion for understanding consumers and what inspires and motivates them

    -       Ability to inspire teams with their knowledge of consumer insight and cultural trends

    o   Teams include creatives, accounts, and fellow planners

    o   Ability to successfully represent the consumer, bringing them to life in relatable and motivating ways

    -       Keeps current on industry news, political climate, pop culture, and social trends

    -       Expertise and comfort with wide range of research methods

    o   Ability to manage primary research, from RFP development to screener and discussion guide design, to reporting

    o   Interest in and ability to moderate qualitative studies

    -       Participation in agency initiatives such as new business pitches, white papers, agency presentations

    -       Clear and confident presenter

    o   Ability to design engaging presentations

    o   Ability to present them clearly, concisely and engagingly

    -       Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills

    -       Strong collaborator, willing and eager to work with teams comprised of varying departments, personality types, and levels

    -       Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all team members and directly with clients
