Check your email regularly for information regarding our employment process. text The mission of Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement is to promote a culture of high employee engagement and in turn guest service excellence through formulation and implementation of strategies for more effective leadership of Company employees; enhanced methods, tools and paths for better communication with employees particularly front-line employees about the Companys business goals and strategies, the Companys cultural values, and their critical role as employees in achievement of the companys mission; and improvement of the Companys overall employee experience. The Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team plays a central role in education about, and dissemination of, Company values and culture, and cultivation of employee experience and their engagement. This Specialist position is an integral part of the Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team, and first and foremost contributes to the development of, and supports education around the topic of the MGM Resorts International culture and engagement presentations, workshops and or property events. The Specialist will collaborate and assist in the leadership development segments of property or corporate, with focus on the critical subject matter of Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement, leadership development and Company culture. All Department positions serve as Company and Department ambassadors, and support enhancement of the Companys profile and reputation as a major leader in Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures. * Teach and train portions of the Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement presentations, reinforce Company/property events, and train special classes/events as requested at the Companys local and regional properties. * Prepare and edit written Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement training manuals and materials. * Responsible for ordering, budgeting and making decisions on all logistics, up to and including audio visual set up, and coordination of equipment needed for property events and presentations. * Initiate meetings and collaborate with property contacts and department leaders for business unit events up to and including making decisions on BEOs room set up, schematics, floor plans and F&B options with banquet teams. * Maintain constant visibility on properties and self-directed to participate at property events. * Build strong relationships with property contacts and employees at all levels of the organization. * Collaborate with the MGM Resorts University and other Human Resources divisions as necessary for effective functioning of the Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team. * Collaborate with and builds relationships across other Company operating business units, corporate entities and functional divisions in order to accomplish the Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team mission. * Collaborate with Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team, Vice President and Director in the formulation of the annual strategic plan for the Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team. * Assist with preparation of reports, data and information regarding Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement Team activities. * Collaborate with the Corporate Events and Communications team in the development of internal and external messaging/communications relating to the Companys Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement programs, events and activities. * Represent the Company at meetings, programs or events conducted by Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement and other stakeholders. * Communicate and distribute specified information about the Departments activities and the Companys CSR commitment to external partners (e.g., brochures, press releases, reports, etc.). * Support Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement aspects of Company development projects in new expansion jurisdictions. * Perform other job-related duties as requested. Required: * At least 2 years of class-room based talent or training/facilitation experience or equivalent experience. * Proficient at public speaking and creating presentations. * Excellent customer service skills. * Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic understanding and execution of Microsoft programs that align with role expectations (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word). * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
