Qualifications
NO PRIOR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE NECESSARY ( prefer 1+ year in fast-casual/restaurant leadership role).
At least 18 years of age
Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook (helpful for reporting/scheduling; not always strictly required)
Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the cafe
Organize and establish priorities with minimal supervision
Able to provide feedback and recommendations on cafe and team performance
Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for healthy eating and guest service

Responsibilities
During the training program, you will learn all aspects of cafe operation to ensure successful execution of fresh, made-to-order smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and bowls with fast, friendly, accurate service while maintaining a clean, vibrant, and organized shift
Gain experience in managing cafe-level metrics (sales, labor, inventory) to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction
Assistant Managers help oversee the day-to-day operations of a Tropical Smoothie Cafe with a positive, upbeat, team-focused attitude
Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences and "inspiring healthier living"
Ensure the cafe is in top condition, team members perform duties efficiently, and food safety/quality standards are met 100%
Train, coach, and develop crew members; handle scheduling, inventory, and cash handling
Step in for any role (smoothie maker, cashier, prep) as needed in a fast-paced environment
Support opening/closing procedures and maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere
