ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Collects and transports food orders from kitchen, adds the appropriate garnish and serves to patrons. * Checks food orders for accuracy and spec presentation and ensures no blemishes exist on plates prior to serving. * Serves food according to standards and to established service sequence. * Expedites the service line when necessary. * Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the expeditor line. * Cleans and polishes glassware, flatware, and equipment. * Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of clean linen, flatware, glassware, china and To Go supplies based on expected business volumes. * Provides positive guest recognition and relations through personal performance. * Responds to guest questions. Provides guest assistance, direction and information as needed. * Pre-busses tables by removing china and flatware in order to present delivered food and replaces flatware prior to each course. * Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. from dining room to kitchen and places items into proper cleaning receptacles such as glass racks and silverware bins. * Replaces needed paper supplies for the POS system. * Accurately assembles and fills To Go orders. * Supports and assists servers. * Supports host staff with seating guests; service and bus staff with bussing dirty tables, cleaning floors, arranging tables, making pre-sets, and filling water glasses. * Removes trash, sweeps and mops floors. * Attends required meetings, pre-meal meetings and training sessions as assigned. * Exercises care, performs required maintenance and ensures all operating instructions, safety standards and guidelines are followed in relation to Pazzalunas equipment and/or facility assets.
