SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Application System Administrator will manage and support the critical CrunchTime business application to ensure good performance, research and resolve production issues including working with the application vendor technical support as needed. This role will interact daily with internal customers to make sure their needs are being met.
The Application System Administrator will also document program configurations, job processes, program modifications and document system procedures. Additionally, the Application System Administrator will provide support on new software installations, configuration changes and updates, as well as a variety of application troubleshooting.

Reports to the Director, Restaurant Automation
POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
Perform configuration, administration, and tuning of software application products
Escalation point for Help Desk
With assistance from senior staff or management, document procedures for resolving issues
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues
Coordinate with customers and application vendors on technical issues and upgrades
Open and/or close work orders as needed.
Maintain system security (user accounts, responsibilities, passwords, etc.)
Have a high level of computer security awareness.
With assistance from senior staff or management, perform testing as needed
Perform routine application maintenance as tasked
Other duties as assigned.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIREDHigh School Diploma EXPERIENCE REQUIRED· High school diploma or equivalent· Understanding of restaurant inventory process· Understanding of restaurant labor process· Ability to troubleshoot issues and apply critical thinking skills in problem resolution· Ability to think independently, negotiate with grace and stay focused· Capacity to communicate clearly and with presence· Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory· Flexibility in the face of shifting priorities· Solid understanding of core Microsoft technologiesEXPERIENCE PREFERRED· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.· One to three years of experience successfully supporting business applications, to include end user support, administration, maintenance and upgrades· Knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server is desired
