SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible of the supervision of production lines and must comply with all safety, quality, quantity and housekeeping standards.
Reports directly to Production Supervisor
Supervision of all shift employees
POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
Supervise personnel and operations on the production lines
Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment
Trains, upgrades, operators
Troubleshoots problems on the line
Comprehends and completes run sheets and performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED
3 plus years of non exempt-level supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment is required.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and GMP guidelines is a must. Ability to direct and motivate the workforce to achieve desired output is a necessity of this position.
The ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced environment is essential.
Previous experience with high speed packaging systems is highly desired. Knowledge of baking equipment highly desired.
SQF certification experience is highly desired. Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment is desired.
