    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Manages the operations of assigned restaurants; responsible for achieving planned sales and profit levels for the assigned restaurants through the implementation, management, and enforcement of company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Directly supervises all General Managers within assigned region, indirectly supervises Associate Managers, Food Production Managers, and non-exempt employees during the entire hours of operation of assigned restaurants. Accountable for all administration and operations, ensuring execution of all employee duties to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S)

    Reports directly to: Area Vice President, Operations Internal Contacts: All General Managers and employees in assigned region as well as all home office departments External Contacts: Vendor/Outside service contacts, guests, community groups and marketing associates. Must be willing to relocate anywhere in Florida.POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

    Coaches General Managers, Food Production Managers and Associate Managers and analyzes region’s staffing ensuring sufficient development and training of all employees. Ensures that Perkins' Commitment to Fair and Equal Treatment is enforced at all levels to employees, guests, and vendors. Assists in resolving employee, guests and vendor concerns. Responsible for achieving plan profit levels of all units within region, while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. Plans and analyzes region’s manpower, ensuring sufficient development and training of all management and employees. This includes supplying trainers for new store openings and management training for next steps or bench. Plans and analyzes the administration and operations of all restaurants within region. Required, under certain circumstances, to perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant. Ensures that all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean safe, and sanitary manner according to all established procedures, performance standards, specifications and local health department regulations at units within region. Ensures managers and all team members are monitoring and overseeing food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food borne illness. Ensures all unit’s within region compliance to productivity and service standards with sufficient number of well-trained and productive employees. Ensures proper management of the facility and equipment within region through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, security measures, and adherence to safety and sanitation requirements. Ensures that inventory levels for both food and non-food items within region are properly maintained in accordance with company guidelines through correct ordering procedures and efficient usage and yield application. Prepares and reviews financial reports. Anticipates, identifies and corrects system breakdowns to achieve guest satisfaction. Responsible for all communication with regard to system breakdowns and deficiencies. Accountable for accurate financial data to include: payroll, cash and receipts, productivity, food costs, security of funds, and operating expenses. Responsible for all unit’s restaurant assets within region. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with General Managers in region. Attends scheduled regional meetings; makes presentations as requested.

    EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED High school diploma; some college or degree preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Two to five years previous managerial experience; preferably in the food services industry with multi-unit expertise. Excellent communications skills; intermediate level computer skills. Sharp attention to detail. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Clear understanding of all Company standards, policies, procedures and guidelines. Strong P & L analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel). Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
