    As a Pest Control Assistant , you will provide pest control services for assigned properties, including all guest rooms, offices, amenities, and building exteriors. This role also includes animal trapping and removal as needed. You’ll ensure a safe, clean, and pest-free environment for our guests and team members through proactive inspections and timely treatments.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Mix and apply pesticides safely and effectively
    • Handle pesticides in accordance with company and safety standards
    • Trap and remove wildlife such as raccoons, opossums, and snakes
    • Respond to guest calls professionally and in a timely manner
    • Inspect sites for current and potential pest issues
    • Collaborate with resort staff to develop pest control solutions
    • Use and maintain proper PPE (respirators, gloves, goggles, etc.)
    • Perform bedbug inspections and treatments (chemical and heat)
    • Operate and maintain pest control equipment and golf carts
    • Inspect and fill rodent bait stations
    • Inspect and treat restaurant areas as needed
    • Assist with other duties as requested

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • One to two year related experience and/or training.
    • Commercial pesticide license preferred but not required.
    • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
