As the Principal Systems Architect, you will lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-impact consumer fintech platforms that power digital banking experiences, co-branded credit cards, embedded finance, and personalized financial tools. This role is central to the company's broader fintech strategy, connecting millions of customers to smarter, flawless ways to manage and access money—across mobile, web, and in-store channels.
You’ll define the architectural vision for banking-as-a-service (BaaS), card issuance and processing, digital identity and onboarding, customer insights, and secure integrations with partners and fintech providers. You’ll work across engineering, product, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity to bring aggressive financial products to life—aligned with regulatory standards and passionate about outstanding user experience. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you’ll influence the future of how consumers experience finance with the company.

Base Pay Range: $123,800 - $223,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At our company, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
