About this Role
This role of this position is to walk alongside guests experiencing homelessness and help them move toward lasting life change through the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. This position will serve and guide men experiencing homelessness toward stability, personal responsibility, spiritual growth, and lasting life change through a Christ-centered relationship.

• Builds trusting relationships with guests through honesty, compassion, humility, and a commitment to speaking the truth in love.
• Lives with integrity and serves as a godly example, encouraging guests toward Christ-centered living and biblical discipleship.
• Encourages guests to grow in obedience to Christ through prayer, Scripture, fellowship, accountability, and faithful participation in Christian community.
• Walks alongside guests with grace and truth, supporting their transformation, spiritual growth, and pursuit of faithful Christian living.
• Treats every guest with dignity and compassion, listening carefully and providing support as they pursue lasting life change.
• Models biblical communication, personal responsibility, peacemaking, healthy relationships, and Christlike character.
• Helps guests apply biblical truth to daily life, decision-making, relationships, work, and personal challenges.
• Demonstrates servant leadership by meeting guests in their present circumstances while encouraging repentance, growth, responsibility, perseverance, and hope in Christ.

• Must agree with Union Gospel Mission of Salem's Statement of Faith and Standards of Conduct.
• Dependable, approachable and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
