We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to work with our Beverage & Chemical Service and Sales Team. This role will be responsible for on-site installation, repair and maintenance and growing our beverage and chemical sales within existing and new customer accounts. We are looking for that unique individual that is a self-starter and able to work independently to achieve set goals. Customer satisfaction and communication will be the key factor in determining success in this role. Experience in electrical, plumbing and sales in the commercial beverage or chemical cleaning industry is a plus. Required Skills and Experience: High School diploma or GED 1+ years related experience. Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability and willingness to work weekends and/or late hours. Excellent customer service skills. Mechanical and/or electrical and plumbing experience. Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and re-assemble. Ware washing and Beverage experience. Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical control circuits and AC/DC drive circuitry/components. Ability to troubleshoot, program and operate electrical control systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Willingness to cooperate constructively in a team environment with others and supervisors. Willingness to work in a safe, organized manner and to follow OSHA and Company guidelines. Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. with frequent lifting of 25 40 lbs. Mechanical experience with technical aptitude. This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Preferred Skills and Experience: Foodservice distribution. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: -Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs), Installs and emergency service in assigned territory -Covers sales and service within territories when needed. -Work with Sales Consultants in given territory to generate leads and close sales calls -Keep accurate records of all installs, emergency service and regular PMs performed in territory. -Responsible for company assets and returns. -Performs required equipment refurbishment duties as needed to support territory. -Maintain company vehicle overall by having regular oil changes, tune-ups, etc. Keep vehicle clean inside and out, well organized and adequate parts and supplies. (Vehicles are only to be used for company business only). -Responsible for increase Bev/Chem sales in assigned accounts by promoting bev/chem, E-brands and programs in territory. -Responsible for communicating and working with Sales Consultants in your local territory to develop new and additional Beverage/Chemical business -Responsible for instructing and training our customers on how utilize Reinhart products and equipment. -May be requested to cover weekend emergency sales and service. -Organize and maintain a monthly call schedule for required preventative maintenance -Introduce and provide information to customers about new product and services for total account penetration. -Follow all company policies and procedures, and dress in accordance with the guidelines as stated in the employee handbook. -Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate laptop computer and iPad. -All other projects and duties as assigned
