    Job Description

    As a Regional Data Integration Specialist, you will serve as the primary technical contact and facilitator for a School District as it relates to the maintenance of the nightly data integration process. 

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: 

    • Responsible for all customers with Data Integration Services in an assigned territory, acting as the customer-facing liaison of data integration with those districts, including:  

    • Ongoing maintenance and support: Provide reactive assistance (troubleshooting, remediation, resolution) when customer encounters a data integration issue.  

    • Proactively monitor and support integrations to ensure they are running as scheduled; troubleshoot to determine cause and resolve as needed.  

    • Address complex issues for customers assigned to DI Services; assist DI Services with escalations where needed.  

    • Facilitate customer check-ins periodically, to understand any customer data system changes or product needs, to plan and forecast data integration changes accordingly.  

    • Understand Renaissance products, rostering and reporting data requirements, and Custom Data Integration services.   

    • Attend training sessions and review deployment updates.  

    • Advise customers on Renaissance best practices as it pertains to the customer’s data integration and their use of Renaissance products. 

    • Define and deliver customer work requests to the programming team.

      

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE: 

    • 1 year or more experience in customer and technical areas of Renaissance Learning; or an Associate's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 

    • Technical knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and CSV / txt files 

    • Excellent technical customer service skills  

    • Proven ability to offer consultative guidance, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate decision making skills 

    • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as manuals, directions for working with different Student Information Systems, and departmental procedures

     

    BONUS POINTS FOR: 

    • Experience with Putty/WinSCP 

    • Experience with various data integration methods, SIS Software Vendors and data providers like Clever
