    Job Description

    The Renaissance Customer Success Internship offers a unique experience for current university students or recent graduates. The Customer Success Intern works under the supervision of the Senior Customer Success Manager in New York City. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing individuals to work directly with NYC schools. Interns will work on a range of projects and activities designed to raise awareness of our products in schools and promote students reading.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Represent Renaissance at school functions and citywide events, etc.

    • Assist in maintaining social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

    • Assist faculty and students in accessing Renaissance products and services

    • Assist in coordinating ongoing reading campaigns

    • Complete additional assigned tasks on a timely basis

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance in a deadline driven environment

    • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Technology literacy: Using computers (either PC or MAC), mobile devices, Smartboards, projectors, standard Microsoft Production Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet and e-mail usage, social media usage (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

    • Ability to grasp new concepts and technologies quickly and efficiently

    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible

    • English language proficiency; second language proficiency preferred

    Education and Experience

    • BS/BA or currently pursuing BS/BA degree. Preferred fields of study include: education, literacy, communications, business, marketing, publicity, etc.

    • Prior internship experience and/or relevant work experience a plus

    Additional Information

     

    • This is a paid position

    • Requires travel to locations throughout NYC

    • Requires professional dress and demeanor

    • Flexible schedule: 15-20 hours per week; M-F 8 am – 3 pm
