REG utilizes 3 rd party liquid bulk terminals and transloads throughout the country to store and distribute fuel and feedstocks. This position is responsible for completing a project that will be valuable to the department as well as daily tasks and smaller projects throughout the internship pertaining to terminals and the overall REG supply chain. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Key Accountabilities: Project Complete department project Recommend improvements based on project results Prepare presentation for senior leadership team Inventory Management Create inventory projections for terminals Use rail system to forecast railcar arrivals to terminals Work with truck department for inbound truck projections Track physical inventory levels Assist sales in coordinating outbound shipments Attend meetings with sales and transportation on regional inventory projections and assist where available Terminal Communication Ask terminals on capabilities missing in database to be added Talk to potential terminals to acquire information to be added to database Send paperwork to terminals as needed Process Improvements Utilize REG systems to automate tasks While learning REG processes, recommend and implement new process improvements Analysis Function Assist in cost analysis for new terminals Assist in forecasting methods for terminal sales demand Other frequent duties: Assist with invoice payments Plan truck loads in Oracle Transportation Management Perform other duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education Required : Pursuing a bachelors degree SCM, LSCM, or related degree **Senior or Junior status required Experience Required : Business environment experience, relevant courses, club participation and internship preferred Skills Required : Strong verbal and written communication skills Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Advanced math and accounting skills Special skills or knowledge preferred: Access skills (building queries, forms) Advanced Excel skills (Pivot table, Macros, Advanced Excel Functions) Not ready to
