    Job Description

    The Restaurant Performance Standards (RPS) Assessor is responsible for conducting comprehensive, on-site evaluations to help restaurants maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, customer experience, and brand protection. This includes tasting and assessing all components of the Box Combo meal to ensure quality and consistency. The RPS Assessor also communicates results clearly to multiple teams across the organization, helping drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of restaurant performance against food safety and company standards
    • Perform detailed food quality checks including tasting all Box Combo components (chicken, fries, toast, coleslaw, sauce, drinks)
    • Conduct performance-based assessments that ensure proper safety and sanitation practices
    • Manage RPS assessments and RSO-related tasks to ensure randomization and maximize visibility into restaurant operations
    • Deliver timely, professional communication of evaluation results to field leaders and support teams
    • Coach operators on identified issues and ensure non-standard items are corrected and re-evaluated to meet company standards

    Travel Requirements:

    Up to 75%

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5 years’ experience in restaurant leadership or quality assurance, or 2+ years as a Raising Cane’s Assistant Restaurant Leader
    • Expert-level understanding of restaurant standards and food/sanitation best practices
    • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
    • Strong analytical, written, verbal, technical, and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible for effective task management
    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Additional food safety or quality certifications (e.g., HACCP, SQF)
    • Experience in fast food or casual dining
    • College degree
    • Knowledge of food code regulations, auditing practices, and related evaluation tools
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook
