    Summer Internship Program:

    This isn't summertime busywork - At Choice, every intern becomes an integral part of our team...and gets paid for it!

    Our uniquely designed program offers interns valuable exposure into the hospitality industry and the operating structure of a leading organization in this space. Our comprehensive program promotes growth through various opportunities including: practical work experience and participation in a critical business project in a chosen field, learning and networking opportunities with senior leaders, and an intern-led service project supporting our corporate social responsibility initiative. This program is designed to provide students with an enriched experience in corporate dynamics, collaboration and their individual areas of interest.

    The role…

    Across the past several years, Choice Hotels has expanded the breadth of our products and services to meet the needs of today’s business traveler. We’ve transformed our Comfort brand, invested in Cambria and Ascend to go after the upscale market, built out other business oriented brands, and improved our Choice Privileges loyalty program.

    These changes position us well to capture more of the business travel market at our 6,500 Choice-branded hotels worldwide—and our Global Sales team will be leading the charge. To support this effort, we are building out a Sales Strategy & Operations function that has the capabilities to enable our Global Sales team’s success.

    What you will do…

    • Assists in the reporting of annual sales plans and targets as well as quarterly forecasting/adjustment to sales goals
    • Creates scenario analysis and forecasts related to the trending of actuals to plan
    • Assesses impacts of modified sales territories to annual sales plans and targets, and assists in development of territory plans
    • Assists with linking of market research to opportunities for increasing share with our current products/services
    • Communicates areas for continuous improvement in Global Sales operations
    • Works with global Sales team to implement data, process, and technology improvements
