    We are looking for a go-getter Sales Intern to assist our Sales Team in connecting nightlife and day life operators with the technology they’ve been dreaming of! You love hospitality and are a whiz with data. You’re excited by the prospect of spending the fall working and learning with a six-year-old start-up based in Chelsea. You are comfortable building lead lists and analyzing results. Most importantly, you want to be part of an innovative and hardworking software startup changing the world of hospitality.

    Job Description:

    As a Sales Intern, you’ll work directly with a Sales Consultant to identify and facilitate contact with potential clients. You will be responsible for building lead lists, collaborating with marketing on lead generation campaigns and analyzing results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and organize lead lists for sales via market research within key regions and business segments
    • Assist with large deals (e.g. data collection and organization in Salesforce.com)
    • Set up and analyze Salesforce reports and dashboards with an eye towards helping the sales team stay organized and increase sales

    Requirements:

    • Interest or direct experience in sales
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Technologically savvy and adept at learning new tools
    • Excellent organization and documentation skills
    • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent tool a plus
    • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
    • Self-starter with excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills
    • Restaurant, nightlife or hotel industry experience a plus
    • Comfortable working in a hands-on, rapidly changing, entrepreneurial environment
