Service Technician: Pool Industry – (Elkhart, IN)

Compensation: $26–$28/hour
Work Setup: Full-Time | Field-Based

Avenica partners with a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven services platform focused on building a premier national pool and spa business. As part of this expansion, they are growing their service team in the Elkhart, Indiana market.

This is an opportunity to join a hands-on, customer-focused service team where your technical skills directly impact customer satisfaction, equipment performance, and overall service quality.

How You’ll Drive Impact

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining pool and spa equipment while delivering a high-quality customer experience on every service call.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair pool and spa equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, motors, lighting, automation systems, etc.)
• Deliver a professional, customer-first experience on all service calls
• Complete jobs accurately on the first visit and follow up on any outstanding work
• Perform routine maintenance and in-house repairs
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and recommend upgrades or additional products
• Maintain an organized service vehicle stocked with necessary parts and tools
• Track inventory usage, job details, and service notes accurately
• Support installation, spa service, and maintenance teams as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service expectations

You are a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in delivering quality work and excellent customer service. You enjoy problem-solving in the field and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, plumbing, and electrical aptitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience with pool equipment or similar systems preferred

Preferred Backgrounds:
HVAC, appliance repair, mechanical service, or similar hands-on technical roles

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work
