Summary:
The Shop Foreman [Diagnostic Technician] will lead diagnostic efforts, support technician development, and ensure high-quality vehicle repairs that align with factory standards. With a focus on safety, collaboration, and precision, you’ll serve as the go-to resource for diagnostics and workflow coordination.
- Diagnose vehicle issues prior to technician assignment; assist team members with complex diagnostics.
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately based on repair orders and manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager and service advisors to prioritize workflow and communicate updates.
- Perform inspections and road tests; identify and recommend additional service work as needed.
- Document all work using Truvideo/Estimate tools and stay current with technical bulletins and training.
We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of automotive experience; degree/certification preferred
- Strong automotive diagnostic knowledge across core systems
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with good time management
- Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
