Vip Host Side Bar 3 reviews - San Diego, CA 92101 Part-time Position Summary: Responsible for consistent sales/reservations results, client prospecting and booking of bottle service tables, weekly hospitality and industry outreach, and efficient and timely communication with Managers and sales team. This is an on premise and off premise position. The majority of the on premise time will be spent organizing and managing all aspects of sales and customer reservations, maintaining the arrival and facilitation of all bottle service reservations, greeting of VIP clients upon arrival, building existing and new relationships, and assisting the VIP team throughout the course of the evening with VIP related duties. The majority of the off-premise time will be spent prospecting new clients and reaching out to existing clients through various mediums, as we well as conducting weekly hospitality outreach and industry related efforts to develop relationships that refer destination business. Position Duties and Responsibilities:Prospecting/Outreach: * 75+ outbound sales calls/texts per week (not limited based on special event weeks) * Required to consistently identify and prospect new client opportunities * Required to build and maintain existing client relationships * Required to mature assigned web submission, phone-in, and walk-up leads * Consistently utilize social media platforms (3 posts per week minimum) * Regular attendance of scheduled staff outings and industry related events * Weekly attendance of 1+ networking, or other venue events and weekly email report * Conduct weekly outreach to local hotels, restaurants and businesses * Identify upcoming events such as festivals, professional sports games, conventions, etc. that may bring in potential business and share with VIP team * ALWAYS have business cards with you Reservations/Sales: * Timely and efficient response to all sales, operations, and management communications * Attendance of weekly VIP Sales Meeting * Responsible for meeting assigned individual monthly sales goal * Use of Seven Rooms reservation system to manage customer reservations and data * Responsible for having all customer info updated prior to start of event night * Responsible for always updating customer info in a timely and efficient manner * Responsible for database management and ensuring all account information is updated and linked * Learn and utilize customer information entry policies including Owner and Referral rules * Monday/Tuesday follow-up texts, emails, or Facebook messages to new/existing/walk- up booked clients Operations:VIP Door (8PM 12AM): * Upon arrival, review of Seven Rooms seating chart and updating of all client reservations, to ensure all customer data is accurate and complete * Have a full understanding of the specifics of all reservations prior to start of event night * Assist in set-up and organization of VIP Door and podium as needed * Be present at VIP Door at all down times to assist in customer interactions * Assist VIP Team with VIP Door operations and customer reservations during seating hours o Confirmation of table count, dress, ratio, list, credit card/pay policies with ALL clients on arrival o Reporting of open tables and management of sale of those tables to ensure sold out evening o Management of VIP Podium and ensuring all customer/seating information is real time * Become accustomed with all regular and future regular clients and recognize/greet upon arrival * Upon close of VIP Door, support VIP Door exit guard in arrival of VIP guests as needed On Floor (12AM 2AM): * Visit and entertain your customer reservations: new, existing, web submission, phone-in, and walk-up * Build relationships with new contacts at each of your tables * Identify new sales and client opportunities at your customer reservation tables * Assist VIP Team throughout night with VIP customer needs * Assist VIP/cocktail waitresses with closing of open tabs at night end * Assist Security with challenging VIP customers and tables * Assist venue with clearing patrons of drinks and from venue at night end Guest List: * Responsible for weekly guest list and bringing in new qualified guests into the venue * Responsible for 40+ persons on guest list per month Qualifications: * At least 1 year experience in related field/hospitality industry (preferred) Skills and Attitudes: * Must have a guest focused attitude * Must have excellent customer service skills * Must be able to manage challenging customer situations * Must be aware of the surroundings and everyone in the venue * Must be ready to always sell * Must be focused on sales organization and efficiency * Must be responsive in all communications * Must be able to multi-task Education:
