The Bazaar Bartender is responsible for greeting, and serving guests, in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be able to engage and cater to all guests in order to maximize the guest experience. From smoking cocktails to spherified olives, The Bazaar offers a magical dining experience from James Beard Award-winning Chef José Andrés in a fanciful, modern piazza by Philippe Starck. Chef Andrés combines traditional Spanish flavors with cutting edge culinary techniques in playful and sophisticated dishes while Starck uses design elements like elegant chandeliers and retro wallpaper to craft dramatic and inviting interiors. The Bazaar has locations in SLS Beverly Hills, SLS South Beach and SLS Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Job Focus Focus is on, but not limited to the following: Must love and support their TEAM! Greet all guests warmly Prepares and services beverages for servers and guests in a quick, efficient and friendly manner Provides exceptional customer service to all guests Assist bartender in preparing and servicing beverages for servers and guests in an accurate, timely and friendly manner, using SBEs mixology techniques & recipes Goes above and beyond to guide each guest through a memorable experience Takes direction from management and the bartender to assist in duties behind the bar Ensures that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol Performs proper cash, comp, and check control procedures Monitors and stocks bar levels Takes inventory of the bar on a regular basis Provides guests with accurate information about the restaurant and property as well as entertainment offered in each as needed Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest and team members needs when the opportunity arises Communicates with management, and service staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests Refills ice as needed Restocks glassware as needed Cuts fruit and garnish as needed Restocks liquor and beer as needed Keeps a well-organized and clean bar Setup and breakdown bar and well as directed Follows SLS Las Vegas Inventory Control requirements Must be able to pass pour test on a regular basis Ensures work area is in compliance with the Southern Nevada Heath District health codes at all times Desired Qualifications Prefer at least two (2) years of prior experience as an Apprentice Bartender Must be at least 21 years of age or older Ability to obtain a valid Nevada Gaming card, Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card Options Apply for this job online Apply Share Refer this job to a friend Refer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
