Summer Internship Program:

This isn't summertime busywork - At Choice, every intern becomes an integral part of our team...and gets paid for it!

Our uniquely designed program offers interns valuable exposure into the hospitality industry and the technology world of a leading organization in this space. Our comprehensive program promotes growth through various opportunities including: practical work experience and participation in a critical business project in a chosen field, learning and networking opportunities with senior leaders, and an intern-led service project supporting our corporate social responsibility initiative. This program is designed to provide students with an enriched experience in corporate dynamics, collaboration and their individual areas of interest.

The role:

The Portal and Guest Communications team is part of the IT Resiliency organization. This team is responsible for supporting multiple applications including the Portal (Intranet/Extranet) and Guest Communication/Notification applications. As a resiliency team we ensure our applications are healthy in production environment, monitor their performance, build alerts to catch issues before they arise and resolve them. We are constantly improving application’s and their underlying infrastructure’s performance. We are looking for an intern who is excited about finding problems and resolving them, measure performance metrics for applications, and identify opportunities & provide solutions to improve system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot defects in production and develop solution working with a senior developer
• Help analyze existing application performance and implement alerting, monitoring solutions.
• Automate metrics gathering and report metrics for applications in production environment
