    The Revenue Management team is uniquely positioned to drive Sonder's success and profitability. The team creates and implements data-driven pricing strategies to optimize revenue and responsible for the ongoing development of our forecasting models.

    THIS ROLE COULD BE BASED IN DALLAS OR MONTREAL

    AT SONDER YOU WILL:

    • Define and operationalize the pricing and revenue management strategy for multiple assigned markets, property types and customer segments
    • Forecast revenue and key revenue management metrics to increase predictability of the business and set operating targets
    • Own the analytics workstream related to understanding portfolio performance
    • Deliver against RevPar targets for your assigned markets
    • Combine your quantitative skills with domain expertise to inform and implement pricing decisions
    • Devise and execute revenue management and pricing experiments
    • Partner with city General Managers to evaluate past performance and propose future pricing and inventory strategies
    • Work with the Engineering and Product teams to develop in-house revenue management software

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

    • Bachelors with 1+ years experience or a Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
    • Past professional experience working in Revenue Management and/or on rigorous analytical projects
    • The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious and self motivated  
    • Strong logical and analytical reasoning abilities. 
    • Creative thinker who can devise novel approaches to pricing
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and SQL
    • Strong written and oral communication skills

     

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Past experience pricing B2C products is highly desirable
    • Deep understanding of hospitality market forces and dynamics
    • Python, R, Tableau
