    Sonder Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for the Learning and Development team. In this role, you will support the successful execution of training initiatives 

    This role is responsible for developing the learning curriculum for Sonder employees across the globe. Due to the versatility of this cohort of learners, the ideal Instructional Designer candidate approaches learning development with creativity in order to find dynamic solutions for a varied and global workforce.     AT SONDER YOU WILL:

    • Design and develop scalable blended learning solutions using instructor-led, digital learning curriculums, job aids, assessment tools, and facilitator guides that leverage adult learning best practices to maximize learner retention
    • Be knowledgeable in current development trends/training tools and continuously explore new and innovative methodologies
    • Build and deploy online courses via LMS platforms using e-learning authoring and design software
    • Aid ongoing employee development through creating job specific curriculum and/or soft skill curriculum
    • Project manage learning programs from ideation, to pilot, to company-wide launch
    • Work with program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to develop curriculum, implement the annual training plans, department policies, procedures, and programs
    • Identify content areas for course development and course standardization
    • Regularly assess learning content and update as needed

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

    • Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years relevant work experience as an instructional designer
    • 2+ years of experience developing content with eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, including HTML, SCORM
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles, and training methods and techniques
    • Knowledge of curriculum design
    • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Proven project management experience and the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
    • Applied knowledge of measurement and program evaluation
    • Expertise in Google applications including Slides, Docs, and Sheets
    • Hard working individual that thrives in a fast-paced and scrappy work environment
    • Must be willing to travel to markets as needed
