Training Specialist – Team Lead Job Description:

A Subway Training Specialist / Team Lead is responsible for instructing, directing, and coaching new staff members while working alongside the trainee to meet the needs of our guests and our daily operations. They direct our staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Our Training Specialist provides constructive feedback and rewards accomplishments. They report directly to the Store Manager. They utilize Subway training tools and checklists to track new hires’ progress.

Their tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supports management by training new crew members, restocking merchandise, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

• Trains new crew members on:

• Customer Service Excellence

• Bread Baking

• Opening and Closing procedures

• Cash Register including Cash Handling Procedures.

• Cleaning and Maintenance Procedures

• Delegates responsibility to crew members based on individual ability and motivation. • Prioritizes and assigns work in an organized efficient manner while maintaining expected productivity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Utilizes Subway training tools to ensure all trainees are following the Subway guidelines.

• Provides feedback and progress reports to the Store Manager regularly.

Job Status: Full time and/or part-time Reports To: Store Manager

Wages: Based on experience plus gratuity (Full-time base rate $12.27 per hour)
