Do you love working with kids? Team Sheeper is looking for several Swim Camp Counselors for our Camp Program at Rinconada (Palo Alto), Burgess (Menlo Park) and Belle Haven (Menlo Park).

Reporting to the Head of Camps, Camp Counselors are responsible for leading children in our camp programs. Camp Counselors are role models for camp participants. Our ideal candidates exemplify integrity, commitment, respect, responsibility, and cooperation.

Camp hours are between 9am to 5pm.

Work shifts are between 8:30am to 5:30pm. (Exact shift times vary based on the option you choose)

Responsibilities:

• Lead campers to ensure safe, well-run activities for children in a fun, exciting and nurturing environment.
• Know the daily activities and training schedule; keep to the schedule for each activity or game.
• Initiate and suggest new activities that would be fun and enhance campers' learning experience.
• Set up and clean up camp each day in a safe, efficient, cooperative manner.
• Promote safe behavior among all campers, and assure the highest standards of safety.
• Be a professional and responsible representative of the company
• Must be willing to swim with the participants during the daily free swim.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience as Camp Counselor and/or working with children is highly desired.
• Demonstrates a passion for working with kids and having fun.
• Must be enthusiastic and show your spirit!
• Fantastic communicator with the ability to interact in a clear, motivating and fun manner with children.
• Must be on time and have camp setup before campers arrive.
• Must be a minimum of 14 years of age by June 1, 2024.
• Must be able to work 20 hours per week.
