Waiter/Waitress The Pho Shack - Sugar Land, TX 77498 $12 - $14 an hour Part-time Looking for full-time and part-time waiters/waitresses who want to join a new and rising restaurant serving Vietnamese Cuisine. No experience needed. Our wait staff average $12-$14including tips and wages. The Wait Staff position is responsible for serving guests and patrons in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The waitstaff records and inputs into the POS system beverage and food orders, delivers and serves food, ensures exceptional guest service. This position requires the ability to multi task with a sense of urgency. Assignments can include Wait Staff, Busser, Runner, Meal Plater, Catering and Utility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Greets guests promptly as they arrive at their table. 2.Records accurate food and beverage orders and input into the POS system. 3.Explains how menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. Makes recommendations. 4.Informs guests of weekly specials. 5.Carries service tray in correct placement of orders to facilitate service of food and beverages. 6.Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE). 7.Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as assigned. 8.Handles guest complaints in a positive and professional manner 9.Flexible with job duties. 10.Able to work in a high pace environment. ~~~ assigned, performs catering function set up, break down and service. 11.Organizes tasks and completes all assigned tasks. Ability to perform tasks concurrently. 12.Maintains front of house and kitchen sanitation requirements. 13.Understands and complies with all company safety policies. 14.Reports to work on time and in complete uniform. 15.Communicates appropriately with supervisors and dining room staff.
