    Job Description

    GENERAL OBJECTIVE

    The ERP Support Specialist will work in a support role with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems users at all levels throughout the organization. The position will be thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of the ERP systems software, 3rd party softward associated with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and related database schema. To provide maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems; to act as liaison between the department end-users and the Enterprise Resource Manager; and to perform related work as required. This position is based in the Boulder Co location but will support users remotely at various sites.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Provides instruction, assistance, and support services to ERP System end-users.
    2. Applies knowledge of ERP system to resolve concerns or questions reported by ERP system end-users.
    3. Acts as a liaison between application end-users and technical support.
    4. Assists in the creation and updating of ERP system policies and procedures, business rules, end user desk aids, and training materials.
    5. Works with technical support to restore, correct and/or recover data, and to develop and design custom reports.
    6. First level of support for system issues.
    7. Creates custom queries.
    8. Provides management with reports as needed.
    9. Tests new system functionality, reports, and queries in test databases.
    10. Reviews system records and provides information to the Enterprise Resource Manager on issues or concerns identified.
    11. Utilizes knowledge of ERP Systems to assist in identifying processes and constructing process flows.
    12. Assists in troubleshooting system problems.
    13. Assists in ensuring that the end users have optimum use of the system.
    14. Provides responsive, high quality service to employees by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.
    15. Regular attendance at work and at scheduled meetings.
    16. Provide backup first level desktop support
    17. Other duties assigned

    ACCOUNTABILITY

    • Key position in application support organization.
    • No direct reports, however is key source of knowledge and application functional expertise for users.
    • Interacts daily with departmental and cross-functional peers and managers.
    • Contributes to profitability of Company through successful application training services and support for automated business solutions.
    • Team member to liaison with 3rd party application support and user organizations.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

    EDUCATION:

    High School diploma or GED equivalent

    EXPERIENCE:

    one (1) year full-time experience working in a support role with an ERP System application

    SX.e and/or TWL experience is optimal

    Strong knowledge of relational databases, writing select and update queries is preferred

    Knowledge, Skills AND ABILITIES:

    Strong Organization skills

    Effective oral and written communication skills

    Strong interpersonal skills

    Proficient with standard industry productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Microsoft Access and/or COGNOS for report writing

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    Strong understanding of business processes, Company goals, and best business practices

    Attitude and appearance appropriate for a business office are to be maintained

    Analyze report data and translate for end-users

    Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

    Strong knowledge of computer applications and terminology

    Service orientation

    Periodic time involvement beyond normal working hours which may require 24/7 support.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES/REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIPMENT:

    Position requires individual to utilize a computer for long periods of time

    Occasional lifting of equipment or furniture up to 15 pounds
