    Our global medical device client located in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Management Analyst with experience in New Product Development and R&D Engineering.  POSITION DUTIES:

    • Manage project initiation/planning, strategy, execution, design reviews, controlling, and closing phases.
    • Create and Manage project schedules and action items.
    • Oversee and mitigate project risks and issues.
    • Manage and control changes from original scope for every project.
    • Serve as conduit between project/team members in all cross-functional groups such as Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, etc.
    • Provide necessary support for your project team members.
    • Establish and maintain project stakeholder relationships and communications.
    • Apply project management methods and tools to every program.
    • Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverables including identification of resources for projects from initiation through product delivery and project closure.
    • Organize and integrate cross functional activities, ensuring successful completion of the project, i.e., project on schedule and within budget constraints.
    • Responsible for project performance, maintaining scope, building a strong cross-functional team, proactive risk and issue management and resolution, as well as clear and constant communications to stakeholders. REQUIRED SKILLS:
    • Ability to work, be organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Outstanding candidates will be well-versed in project management.
    • Project management certification is a strong plus.
    • Superior communication skills are required.
    • Influencing others at all levels of the organization is essential.
    • Knowledge of documentation processes and implementation.
    • Experience managing risk and implementing mitigation plans.
    • Strong MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
    • Flexibility to change direction and priorities and be able to adapt quickly.
    • Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects with competing priorities. 
    • Strong sense of diplomacy and ability to influence others at all levels of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's Degree in related field is required, a technical degree is a plus.
    • 2-3 years' experience; hands on experience managing projects.
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in direct project management for new product development (NPD)
    • Experience managing projects in a medical device or other related regulated industry is required.
