  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Plans, coordinates, and directs training and staff development programs for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may beassigned.

     

    • Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs within organization for Sales and Deeding/Closings for all locations.

    • All responsibilities regarding Specialty Tours (training, assigning, creating materials, etc.) for all locations.

    • Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements inside the department budget. Formulates training policies, programs and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.

    • Confers with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills.

    • Develops recruitment program, budget, and collateral to attract qualified applicants.

    • Selects appropriate instructional procedures of methods such as individual training, group instructions, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulations exercises, role play and computer based training.

    • Organizes and develops training manuals, references library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational material.

    • Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new sales, classed, on the job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies in the respective department.

    • Make public presentation at schools, organizations and job fairs.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Fifth year college or university program certifications; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles from publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
