    Job Description

    Oversee the execution and production of our social media content. Develop, produce and deliver social media content across all channels to drive organic reach and customer engagement. The position will report to the Social Media Marketing Coordinator/Manager and will work across social strategy and content planning.

    Duties

    • Execute a social media content strategy that is consistent with the Westgate Resorts (Corporate) and Westgate Sport and Entertainment (WSE) brand image and messaging.
    • Create and manage editorial calendars for the creation of fresh content that fulfills the objectives of Corporate, WSE and sales-driven marketing strategies.
    • Ideate and facilitate creative asset production (provide asset specs, attend to briefing meetings, etc.), launches (copywriting and scheduling) and social optimization.
    • Develop our UGC and photo advocacy platform strategy while finding new ways to "level-up" our marketing efforts to reach new guests, engage current audiences and team members.
    • Create content repurposing process to ensure proper formatting, context and delivery for each social media channel.
    • Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Partnership/Sponsorship ops teams to develop social media promotions that help achieve Corporate, WSE and sales-specific marketing goals.
    • Develop and communicate weekly and monthly social media reporting and analysis along with recommendations for improved future content performance.
    • Continually develop the best ways to optimize our content by contributing fresh ideas.
    • Collaborate with creative team to ensure needs are captured in advance for all photoshoots, and provide insight, recommendations and data to creative team to support optimized creative concepting.
    • Monitor WSE events related websites for accuracy (photography, descriptions and other content).
    • Keep abreast of current best practices and social platform changes while continually learn the best ways to optimize our content and grow our channels.
    • Recommend, implement and refine strategies that promote effective digital delivery of content.
    • Foster an environment which encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity.
    • Identify opportunities for storytelling on social within marketing campaigns and real time events. Attend events and produce live social media content as needed.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years social media experience or related field.
    • Experience using social media platforms and tools preferred. Including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, as well as tools like Salesforce Social Studio, Sprout, Later, etc.
    • Experience sourcing, creating/managing content development and publishing.
    • Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in social media creation, platforms and consumption.
    • Familiarity with photography, video editing and design and experience and proficiency in design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a plus, but not required.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Ability to commit to a flexible schedule, being available to make social posts and answer inquiries when collaborates need information, which will include weekends and evenings and some holidays.
    • An innovative mindset, with unwavering commitment to creating excellent content.
    • Strong decision-making, time management & planning skills.
    • Exceptional storytelling, brand voice, brand writing and social marketing skills with proven ability to develop content that travels beyond just a singular social post.
    • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to direct story telling across multiple media including general posts, video, infographics, etc.
    • Strong track record of delivering results and producing thoughtful, creative ideas.
    • High energy, "can do" personality and ability to thrive in fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must possess superior communications skills. (Listening, writing and speaking)

    Education and Experience

    High School diploma or GED equivalent; and 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
