    Job Description

    As an Engineering Appliance Technician, you will:

    • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, and HVAC systems across the resort's villas and units.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure appliances are functioning efficiently.
    • Diagnose problems accurately and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance staff to prioritize and coordinate repair tasks.
    • Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment, and requisition supplies as needed.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an appliance technician or similar role, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of appliances and HVAC systems.
    • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
    • Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
    • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner.
    • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company vehicle.
