  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As the Team Member Services Specialist, you will:

    • Coordinate activities across various departments, including front desk, engineering, housekeeping, warehouse/purchasing, SPA, and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Manage team member relations by controlling turnover, motivating team members, focusing on development and retention, and conducting regular team member meetings.
    • Uphold a professional image through appearance and dress.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, effectively communicating them to the team.
    • Ensure the hotel complies with all federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage and Hour, and Health laws.
    • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Promote CFI/Westgate Resorts philosophies throughout the hotel to both team members and guests.
    • Ensures all new hires have completed onboarding (Policy acknowledgements, direct deposit setup, etc.)
    • Performs time-keeping functions for assigned departments.
    • Provide excellent and friendly customer service to Team Members by responding to inquires related to benefits, policies, etc.
    • Assists Team Members with Name Changes, Direct deposits, Open Enrollment for Benefits & Lifestyle changes.
    • Maintains Team Member I-9s both electronically and scans Team Member documents in electronic filing system.
    • Completes employment verification letters as needed.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to coordinate and facilitate New Hire Orientation.
    • As coordinated by TMS Manager, may assists with property activities.
    • Assist on employee relations issues.
    • Conducts TM benefits meetings.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Four-year college degree is preferred, but not required and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Must be fluent in English.

    Certifications:

    • SHRM membership added bonus but not required.

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
