Destination Expert Agents work in a fast-paced phone and e-mail environment, and have the opportunity to utilize their people skills and destination knowledge to increase product awareness by offering additional services and provide peace of mind to new and existing destination visitors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Providing theme park ticket sales and services to guests over the phone. Maximizing opportunities to add value and increase product awareness by offering additional products based on availability and marketing efforts. Maximizing guest interaction by using effective telephone communication including listening and qualifying techniques in support of sales goals. Applying appropriate actions to manage calls and maintaining standards in handle time efficiencies. Providing technical assistance and phone support for ticket guests. Providing assistance with promotions and/or advertisements on the Westgate Resorts websites. Offering Travel Insurance. Offering additional products and services specific to a destination. Provide customers with destination information specific to their dates of travel. Other destination sales and support services may apply. High School diploma or GED preferred. Two or more years call center experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese preferred. Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office is required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence. Customer Service experience - minimum of 2 years (call center, hospitality) Patient, ability to multi- task at one time, ability to work under pressure, firm and courteous EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
