  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Coordinates activities, and assist Guests, exclusively for Archery and the Trap and Skeet Department by performing the following duties. DUTIES:

      1. Work closely with Trap and Skeet Assistant Manager, Recreation Manager and Safety and Security Director, to insure that all mandated safety programs from Westgate or government are followed.
    • Responsible for routine maintenance, safety inspection and cleaning of all weapons, trap and skeet machines and buildings as needed.
    • Responsible for inventory and ordering supplies for trap and skeet and Archery.
    • Responsible for unloading and checking in supply deliveries for Trap and Skeet and Archery.
    • Conducts routine daily inspections of Trap and Skeet and archery ranges.
    • Keeps the area at Trap and Skeet and Archery clean and organized and free of any safety issues.
    • Report any complaints/concerns, in accordance with company policies and procedures, to the GM, Trap and Skeet Assistant Manager and Recreation Manager.
    • Attend and participate in Staff meetings, in the absence of the Trap and Skeet Assist Manager
    • Reviews and provide weekly department activity reports to the GM, Trap and Skeet Assist. Manager and Recreation Manager.
    • Be on call and available to work, as needed, on all weekends, Holidays and schedule changes, in order to accommodate guest demand.
    • Other duties assigned by the GM, Trap and Skeet Assist Manager or Recreation Manager, as needed

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have 3 plus years of experience with firearms. Preferred but not required training with firearms from Military or law enforcement training. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
