Your main duty will involve aiding in the preparation, arrangement, and flawless execution of banquets, corporate meetings, weddings, and other special gatherings hosted at our esteemed hotel. Responsibilities: Set Up and Breakdown: • Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table and chair arrangement, linens, and decorations • Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas after events, ensuring a clean and organized space for the next function Service Excellence: • Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously Team Collaboration: • Work closely with the banquet team, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless event execution • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently Attention to Detail: • Ensure that all banquet equipment, utensils, and glassware are properly set and in pristine condition • Monitor and replenish supplies as needed during events Safety and Compliance: • Adhere to health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation guidelines • Follow hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment Qualifications: • Previous experience in banquet setup and service preferred, but not required • Exceptional customer service and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • Physical stamina to lift and carry banquet equipment and perform other physically demanding tasks Compensation: $18 hourly
