Join us as a Hospitality Host/Hostess at our establishment in Fairport, NY, where you will: • Extend a Warm Welcome - prepare the dining area promptly for service, maintain a clean and appealing workspace throughout the day, handle duties such as room service and cashier tasks. * • Embrace the Host/Hostess Role - manage reservations, seat guests, offer beverages, give recommendations, address inquiries, remember names, greet guests with a smile, and even provide a weather update; it's all part of the role! • Prioritize Safety & Security - adhere strictly to the hotel's safety and security protocols, proactively identify any issues, and promptly communicate concerns to the management team. Responsibilities: • Warm and welcoming personality to greet each guest that arrives at the host stand. • Ability to manage the floor plan by utilizing Resy Reservation system. • Assist clearing tables when needed. • Flexible work schedule- ability to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings weekends and holidays. • Works well under high demands. Qualifications: • A high school education or equivalent preferred and prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred. • Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours as needed. Light work -- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, ability to multi task. • Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. • Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task on a regular basis. Compensation: $15.25-$16.50 hourly
