  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Provide administrative and operational support and act as a liaison to the Loan Review Department.  Review and process various operational tasks in servicing the bank's commercial, residential, home equity and consumer portfolios including troubled debt related transactions, expense tracking, modifications, general ledger and internal account reconciliations, credit report disputes and investor remittance. Handle complex and escalated loan operational issues and serve as subject matter expert for others in the department.

     

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Process various requests from the Loan Review Department including non-accrual, charge-off, bankruptcy, foreclosure and OREO transactions.  Post related transactions to IBS-Insight and process offsetting transactions as necessary. Ensure transactions are balanced.
    • Perform necessary system file maintenance related to the above mentioned transactions, including, but not limited to, loan coding, address changes, and vendor status changes as requested by Loan Review.
    • Track expenses related to collection, foreclosure and OREO activities.  Periodically provide adjusted payoff figures to account for non-system tracked or pending expenses.  Update manual records maintained for expense tracking as needed.
    • Perform calculations related to problem loan modifications based on work out details unique to each loan.  Upon receipt of executed documents, perform necessary system transactions and file maintenance to ensure loan is being serviced according to modified terms. Code loans for proper tracking as necessary.
    • Reconcile Loan Operations related general ledger accounts on a daily basis.  Research outstanding items and identify appropriate solution to clear the item.  Clear items where appropriate or notify responsible staff member.  Follow up on outstanding items.
    • Process secondary market related transactions including remitting payments to investors via online and/or wire, process loan sales, set up participation records in IBS Insight, prepare monthly reconciliations.
    • Process credit bureau disputes received directly from customers or via the eOscar dispute application. Ensures timely and accurate research and resolution in accordance with federal guidelines.
    • Respond to internal and external inquiries and research requests in a timely and professional manner.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
    • 2-5 years of Commercial and Residential Loan Operations experience, especially troubled loan transactions and activities

    INTERNAL  _      Sales personnel, product managers, production personnel, port distribution personnel and IT to meet requirements._

    EXTERNAL_      Retail and wholesale customers to ensure the good relations with customers and meet their requirements._

     

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS (Business, Marketing, Agriculture a plus).
    • Prefer experience in the produce industry
    • Minimum 2 years of work experience in produce or perishable products sales

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/OTHER ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS

    • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time;
    • Ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and reach overhead.
    • Ability to travel as the position requires
    • Ability to work overtime, weekends when necessary.
