    Job ID: 1900191 Job Function: Marketing Sales & Marketing Location: Nashville, Tennessee United States Brand / Resort: Wyndham Destinations Schedule: Full-time Maintenance Technician 04 Jan 2019 Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician performs all general to complex facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production. Perform service requests and repairs along with preventative maintenance work. Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the companys safety programs. Essential Job Functions Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed. (25% time) 2. Performs plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC and fittings. (10% time) 3. Resets, replaces breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards. (20% time) 4. Completes preventative programs on all systems such as HVAC, boilers, pool certification etc. Competencies in plumbing, electric and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision. (20% time) 5. Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting. (10% time) 6. Maintains the unit readiness, ensuring everything is in working order. (5% time) 7. Assist with unit inspections. (5% time) 8. Perform other duties as needed (5% time) Qualifications Minimum Requirements and Qualifications a) Education High school or equivalent preferred, with 2 years of related work experience 2-4 years painting experience HVAC certification CPO certification EAP certification b) Training requirements Technical training 1-2 years Basic landscape training 1-2 years HVAC training preferred Plumbing training preferred Training in all hand and mechanical tools Safety training experience preferred c) Knowledge and skills Ability to complete work orders Ability to take direction and complete tasks Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments Basic computer, tablet skills required Ability to communicate effectively Ability to maintain composure under pressure environments d) Technical Skills Basic PC skills preferred e) Job experience 2-4 year in role or similar role is preferred Maintenance Technician Nashville, Tennessee United States
