    Job Description

    2020 Companies has partnered with Samsung Electronics America to hire tech-savvy Sales Brand Ambassadors. This full-time temporary role, lasting 13 weeks, will ultimately be responsible for increasing sales and brand awareness at high traffic retail locations for Samsung mobile, tablet, and wearables. The Brand Ambassador will also ensure the retailer is merchandised to Samsung standards for seasonal marketing and promotional material. In addition, the BA will administer approved training tactics and maintain partnerships with retail sales personnel and store leadership.

    Full-Time Temporary Employees

    WHILE THE PROGRAM IS TEMPORARY TO RUN 13 WEEKS, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF THE PROGRAM BEING EXTENDED

    Hires needed by 1/25

    Training (virtual) held 1/26 – 1/28

    In-store visits begin 1/29

    Physical store visits – made on Friday, Saturday, Sunday

    • 2 – 3 visits per day for 2 – 3 hours each

    Virtual store visit – made Wednesday – Thursday

    • Calls made to store to train Sales Associates

    Compensation – Hourly + Incentive Percent 10%

    • $18 - $20 hour
    • 10% incentive paid one-time at end of 13 week program based on hours worked and territory performance
    • Must be active at end of program to receive one-time bonus

    Travel time is paid from store to store at hourly rate

    Mileage reimbursed at .56 cents per mile. 35 miles commute deduction/day

    $30 / month cell phone reimbursement

    DAY-IN-THE-LIFE AS A SAMSUNG SALES BRAND AMBASSADOR:

    Build Partnerships and Trust

    • Travel within assigned territory to physically visit various retailers and schedule virtual interactions
    • Conduct meetings with store management or district managers within assigned territory
    • Ensure any needs of the store are escalated back to Field Operations or National Manager

    Driving Sales

    • Enhance the Samsung brand experience for consumers
    • Be the in-store resource to answer questions, discuss product features and provide hands-on demonstrations
    • Identify training gaps within territory of retailers and assign time to facilitate one on one and group training for Sales Associates
    • Balance time between virtual training webinars (large scale trainings) and in store physical visits
    • Conduct smaller scale consumer engagement events in store focusing on top revenue locations

    Merchandising

    • Ensure Samsung's retail brand standards are maintained by inspecting branded displays and marketing materials
    • Conduct survey of in-store branded fixtures and displays and record findings in Salesforce
    • Confirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to use
    • Partner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issues
    • Executes merchandising changes and resets including placement or removal of devices, marketing material and POP
    • Utilize provided Samsung tool kit to facilitate merchandising adjustments and log corrected issues

    Market Intelligence

    • Provide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailers
    • Collect consumer insights weekly and report in Salesforce
    • Gather intelligence from stores that are exceeding sales performance with goal of scaling best practices
    • Inquire and validate retail data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentiment
