    Job Description

    ACARA SOLUTIONS is hiring a NORTH/SOUTH AMERICAN CONSTRUCTION SALES MANAGER in BUFFALO, NY to function as a key member of the Site Management Leadership team of a Global industry leader in manufacturing products used in the construction field . In this exciting role, you will utilize your leadership and development skills combined with maintaining and growing customer relationships and contributing top line revenue! You will oversee and develop a winning team of internal sales professionals while always being on the lookout for new talent to bring into the fold. With constant focus on our customer"s growth path, you will monitor cross business line and Independent Manufacturer"s Representatives and be a resource to existing and new Key Accounts.  We are seeking an inspirational leader who understand the value of the customer relationship. Specifically, you will be asked to:

    • Develop and implement annual sales targets with internal and external teams and provides regular follow -up with substantive constructive feedback.  
    • Accountable for sales and profit results on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Manages the sales organization using results as a guide, but forward -looking analytics to steer.
    • Incorporates modern marketing influencing techniques created in our marketing team to gain attention and trust of key influencers and customers and leads effort on execution of strategy with the sales team.
    • Demonstrated understanding of market dynamics, and adjustments needed to maintain sales and profit growth independent of state of economy.
    • Works collaboratively with all departments and functions within the business to remove roadblocks, gains and maintains trust with customers and employees, and is a resource to all who seek guidance.
    • Proactive in communication with cross business line peers to build sustainable performance within and across the businesses.
    • Understands when to act, lead, and delegate to fit expertise and expectations of the sales team in achieving targets.

    Required Skills / Qualifications:

    1. Minimum Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Civil/Structural Engineering
    2. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated growth in multi -sector sales and sales management roles in commercial and/or infrastructure construction related companies
    3. Minimum 5 years of premium construction sales experience

    Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

    1. Experience using SAP Business 1 MRP
    2. Salesforce experience
