JOB ID 23327– Account Manager
Location:  Tampa, 33602 – This position is onsite

Pay:  On target earnings $80,000 per year
Base salary $60,000 per year

Type:  Direct hire

Schedule:  M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Purpose:  The purpose of this role is manage and grow current accounts.


Job description:

• Manage no more than 10 accounts at a time in the mid-market to enterprise category, ensuring high-touch service and strategic growth.
• Own account management and expansion, conducting regular reviews to identify freight opportunities, increase volume, and grow customer share.
• Deliver exceptional service and real-time problem-solving, maintaining 90%+ customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Leverage market expertise to negotiate competitive rates, align with customer expectations, and implement pricing strategies that boost profitability.
• Ensure operational excellence through accurate load management, internal collaboration, and the effective use of TMS, Google Sheets, and customer portals.
  

Nice to have:

• Must have 3PL experience.

Requirements:

• Must have (2)+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or brokerage.
  
• Must have the ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and grow accounts.
• Must be MS Office and Google Suite proficient.
• Must have experience with TMS (Transportation Management System) platforms.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Employer will perform testing: Predictive Index.
