WHAT YOU WILL LEARN * Support the BD and Scientific Liaison team in managing pharmaceutical/biotechnology partner needs, including addressing sample preparation/experimental design requests, efficient coordination of sample manifest/shipping logistics and accessioning * Coordinate with Legal and Finance regarding contract and invoicing requirements * Document all communications in Salesforce according to established SOPs * Appropriately triage and direct callers to relevant parties within the organization as needed * Respond to inquiries posted through our corporate website and document each inquiry appropriately in Salesforce; Respond to in-coming calls and/or emails in a timely manner

    • Collaborate and coordinate sample flow with Lab Operations and the Biospecimen Sample Management team * Ensure completion by customers of sample manifest in accordance with Adaptive SOPs and manage all sample and shipping logistics with BD customers * Support tracking and real-time management of sample inventory for active pharma/biotech studies * Assist in building on existing customer base by providing the highest level of customer service and support * Escalate issues as appropriate using established protocols * Interact with clients, visitors, and fellow staff in a courteous and professional manner Experience and Skills: Preferred * Maturity and good judgment to understand when to exercise initiative and handle queries directly, and when to escalate queries to higher authority. * Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to handle technically complex scientific documentation and articulate technical concepts to customers * Ability to multi-task and an attention to detail Key Skills & Abilities * Education: Bachelors degree or an equivalent in progress * Excellent written communication skills are required, including technical computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Other characteristics such as personal characteristics: Strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion in a dynamic office setting. Effective and professional communication skills for engagement with both internal and external personnel.
