PAYRATE: $70.00-78.00/hr (depending on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Senior Design Technologist, you will own and drive the design for multiple products and platforms that support our company. We are a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and you'll drive design from early-stage concepts all the way through final delivery and launch. You'll work closely with product management, engineering, and executive leadership. Ideal candidates are self-starters who bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project they work on.
· Take the initial steps to transition from design to solution, maintaining integrity of design whilst laying out in web front-end tech whilst following best practices that enable readable and maintainable code
· Translate visual and interaction design into working web components for our design system
· Actively participate in concept development and design ideation
· Explore multiple solutions to front-end challenges.
· Rapidly build and iterate high-fidelity prototypes that express design intent, using the best and most appropriate tools and techniques for the task.
· Work within a design system and be able to help evolve the system to meet the needs of our users.
· Collaborate with design team to implement design intent that is not captured within design deliverables
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Interaction and visual design for multiple platforms and tools.
· Act as go to with in-depth knowledge of UI and user-centered design best practices and standards.
· Maintain, grow and champion our design system.
· Conceptualize and iterate designs rapidly based on user feedback
· Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications to Product and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership.
· Incorporate user feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into the design.
· Facilitate and participate in design & co-creation workshops.
· Develop and maintain detailed design specifications.
· Perform metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts.
· Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities
