    Requisition Number 18-0078 Title Software Develop Intern City Albuquerque State NM Description General Description of Duties: Will be responsible for maintaining and updating current web sites, and assisting with website development, including Quality Assurance. Collaborate with other developers to handle user requests. Work on cross functional projects with collaboration across departments and users to understand functional and technical requirements to fit their needs. Will work on platforms that are widely valued including website development with WordPress, integration with Salesforce, native HTML, file sharing, and a wide range of other enterprise applications. Learn software platforms as required to support the Enterprises, by testing and maintaining various software to ensure strong functionality and optimization. Must have the ability to clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Training: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have strong communications skills, and the ability to understand and explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences. Must have the ability to quickly learn new concepts and software, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Must be independent, self-motivated, detail oriented, and have a keen, analytical mind with an ability to break down problems and debug code. Experience in the following web technologies is required: HTML and CSS. Experience in the following web technologies is preferred: PHP, Python or some other stack, Git, SVN or other SCM Javascript, jQuery. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. Must have the ability to work collaboratively with others in the organization, and to work well with diverse groups of people both inside and outside the Agency. Other Requirements: Must be able to pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM drivers license, have reliable transportation, and an agency insurable driving record. Must be able to sit, stand or otherwise perform typing/keyboarding tasks as required.
