    TITLE: CONTENT MARKETING LEAD

    LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO, CA (Remote initially however may require returning sitting onsite in the future, must be local to the job)

    PROJECTED DURATION: 6 MONTH EXTENDABLE CONTRACT

    PAY RANGE: $76.00 - $85.00/ HR W2

    We are looking for someone who is process-oriented and a strong writer, who enjoys discovering new trends in tech and venture capital. As a Content Manager, you will oversee the social channels and work closely with our Content & Comms lead and design agency on impactful and innovative content and marketing campaigns to support our portfolio companies and the brand. 

    CONTENT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES FALL INTO TWO BUCKETS:

    *CONTENT CREATION AND MANAGEMENT 

    • Help with topic conception, developing outlines and editing support (important!)
    • Provide publishing support (comfort with Medium and content management systems)
    • Create engaging text, graphics, image and video content
    • Manage the editorial calendar and keep teams to task 
    • Maintain brand guidelines and brand assets
    • Track, measure and analyze content performance, in effort to make recommendations based on findings

    *CHANNEL MANAGEMENT AND ONLINE PRESENCE: 

    • Help refine social strategy including the content topics, formats, schedule, etc
    • Post on behalf of brand (sharing portfolio company news & updates, synthesizing articles and posting, and posting on behalf of execs)
    • Engage in social listening to flag content of relevant from portfolio companies, target journalists
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in all platforms and current trends to ensure maximum effectiveness in content topics and delivery
    • Post / set up posting schedule to our accounts and manage any direct communication
    • Maintain and update website
    • Support publishing on our blog (via Medium)
    • Keep “Teams” page up-to-date 
    • Update “Perspectives” (blog) page with media and blog articles
    • Manage Google Analytics
    • Update Pitchbook / Crunchbase / Bloomberg with funding announcements / GP bios
    • Update Wikipedia for GPs

    MANDATORY SKILLS & EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 7+ years of related experience
    • Experience with G-Suite
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Project management experience
    • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
    • Intellectually curious
    • Understanding of tech and venture capital
    • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
    • Team-oriented and unflappable

    DESIRED SKILLS

    • Social Media experience
