  • Responsibilities

    The purpose of this position is to provide a safe and organized environment for patrons in and around the pool.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates and facilitates responsibilities of general admission for patrons as well as concessions and fills out paperwork as needed. Restocks concession stand with supplies and ensures cleanliness of stand. Performs general cleaning to pool grounds and facilities.

    SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS: Performs other similar duties as required.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Aquatic life saving techniques; Cash-handling. Skills in Identifying and accessing of problematic situations, Moderate communication skills; Basic math; Basic computer skills.

     LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS: CPR and First Aid Certified.

    WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

    Required Experience

     High school diploma or equivalency, with under and including one year of experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
