Job Description Allied Universal is seeking an Experienced Security Control Operation Center Officer located in Boston, MA Full time work:Tuesday through Saturday11 pm to 7 amStarting at $16.60 an hour Security Operations Center Job DescriptionMaintains the security services and related operations within the Security Operations Center within assigned account including client service, problem resolution, automated alarm point monitoring and response, dispatch, CCTV monitoring, reporting and other duties as assigned.Primary Duties:Respond to alarm activations from the CCure 9000 access control system, including held open doors, forced open doors, ApC failures, duress alarm activations, and monitor system events.Respond to executive resident alarms calls received in the Security Control Center and notify security management with details.Respond to incomings calls on the Emergency IAT line. Record detailed information on Intake Message Form and notify management.Implement Emergency Response Protocols and Emergency Medical Services, law enforcement, security staff, and security management in crisis situations including: Bomb ThreatsExternal DisturbancesDuress AlarmsElevator EntrapmentsEnvironmental AlarmsEvacuationsFire AlarmsMedical Emergencies E911 SystemPower FailuresRemote Facility EmergenciesSuspicious PackagesTrespassers Maintain current and accurate daily documentation including incident reports, duty logs, key log, manual action security system log, and lost/found log.Assist Security Manager in maintaining Company Wide Identification clearances and documentation:ID card Access Approval Process for Employees, Contractors, StudentsID card Access Control Representatives for Restricted Area Approval and Cross Campus Access Approval.Adding and Removing Temporary Access Employees, Contractors, and Visitors.ID Card Clearance RecordkeepingMonthly Contractor Access AuditsQuarterly Non-resident Employee Access Audits Maintain working knowledge of the CCure 9000 system, Network Client, Intellex, and Siemens alarms. Required system functions include. Locking and Unlocking Doors via C-Cure 9000.Adding and removing card access using C-Cure AdminReviewing and saving CCTV video using Network ClientUsing the pan-tilt zoom touch tracker to monitor CCTVProper use of the 2 way radio to communicate with security staffDaily Rejected Card History Reports using C-Cure AdminUsing the Siemens system to shut down fansActivating and deactivating events in the C-Cure system.ADT Touch Tracker. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAdditional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)At least 1 year of Security experienceBasic knowledge of computer system networking and operationExperience working with Windows operating systems, along with other Microsoft Office ApplicationsExercise good judgment and problem solving skillsExcellent client relations skills and telephone etiquetteCommunicate expertly in English, both verbal and written form.Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
