    POST-ACQUISITION INTEGRATION MANAGER

     Aramsco, a family of companies, is a leading solutions provider to specialty contractors across North America, serving numerous end markets including abatement, restoration, environmental, emergency preparedness, cleaning and surface preparation. The company has more than 65 locations through which it distributes products, equipment and chemicals, and provides customers with other value-added services including equipment repair, equipment rental and education. 

    THE POST ACQUISITION INTEGRATION MANAGER WILL MANAGE THE PLANNING, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INTEGRATION OF NEWLY ACQUIRED BUSINESSES. THIS ROLE WILL WORK DIRECTLY WITH ARAMSCO’S M&A TEAM, DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP AND NEWLY ACQUIRED BUSINESSES TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION. THE INTEGRATION MANAGER WILL BE THE ON-SITE INTEGRATION LEAD ON ASSIGNED ACQUISITIONS. THIS ROLE WILL SUPPORT THE M&A OBJECTIVES, GOALS AND ACTIONS TO ENSURE NEWLY ACQUIRED PERSONNEL, CUSTOMERS AND PROCESSES ARE SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATED, AS WELL AS, IDENTIFIED STRATEGIC SYNERGIES ARE ACHIEVED.

     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Engage in early stage preparation activities, including due diligence, budget reviews and project planning to ensure integration work stream alignment with the strategy
    • Requires travel to acquisition site prior to the closing/integration date (@1-5 days) and on-site management of full integration (10-30 days depending on business size and complexity).
    • Integration liaison between seller’s leadership, Aramsco department leads and local regional management with the goal of turning all day to day operations over to them as quickly as possible.
    • Manage new facility openings/closures related to acquisitions (including post integration facilities moves brought about by acquisition)
    • Manage and support identified synergies, opportunities and integration objectives within the determined timeline and until completed.
    • Identify risks and solutions for mitigation
    • Participate in resource planning/utilization
    • Develop and manage timelines, schedules and resource allocation
    • Facilitate work group meetings.
    • Prepare and present status report to M&A Leadership
    • Facilitate and/or participate in onsite status meetings at acquired location
    • Follow and maintain company’s integration work stream and project management program.
    • Day-to-day oversight of integration work streams and the associated plans and deliverables
    • Capture and record lessons learned

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
    • Prior experience managing merger and acquisition integration projects is preferred
    • Willingness to travel and be away for longer periods of time. Travel will fluctuate between 50-75% of the time based on M&A activity.
    • Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts and practices.
    • Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
    • Ability to communicate the needs of others effectively.
    • Ability to conduct training and informational sessions.
    • Ability to maintain favorable public relations and perform problem/issue resolution.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, build consensus, facilitate working sessions, and negotiate solutions and alternatives.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Strong computer, proofreading, research and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Ability to work professionally and independently on assigned tasks and to complete assignments in a timely manner with great attention to detail.
    • Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with corporate c-level, vendors and all levels of staff.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Has the ability to collaborate with different departments and multiple business disciplines.
